Discernment in relationships
Yesterday a fellow worship team member and I were discussing a business plan that we'd been working on. In that discussion 2 things came up, how a certain person (we'll call her X) had wronged me and another friend (we'll call her Sam) in business, and that we needed an art therapist. Five minutes later Sam walked in the door and turns out X was leaving her high and dry and she was looking to start working as an art therapist. Seeing as that's what we were just talking about before she came in the timing was perfect.
We all discussed how we could collaborate and all we needed was a work space. I texted the landlord for my office and asked him to let me know if and when the office next to mine becomes available. This morning I woke up to a text saying he had another office that was bigger than the one I asked about and that he'd rent it to us for less than the listed rent and less than the office I inquired about.
I don't believe in coincidence but I do belive in divine favor. Once my friend and I came together walking in the purpose God gave us favor started pouring out. We have to be mindful of who we associate with and who we allow in our inner circle and business. Good ground can easily be spoiled when mixed with rocky soil. But when good ground mixes with more good ground there's fruitfulness.
