Recently started a Etsy shop with the intention to create, sell and share art work. During the creating of the first listings I come across SKU code segment What are they? How do they work?

Are they individual file name used on a document for a particular size, colour, variation of product? And how does that apply to the printshrimp side of the ordering.

Is there any you tube tutorial that can easily explain how they work
