FAQs about using PrintShrimp
How do I place my orders?
Head to app.printshrimp.com to sign up and create your orders. Here, you can upload all of your files to have them ready to go whenever you receive an order.
When and how are my orders sent?
Due to our extensive network of printers, it depends on the country of fulfilment. In the UK, we typically use Royal Mail 48. We use USPS Standard shipping in the USA, and AusPost Standard shipping in Australia. We will always get your orders placed into production the same working day. Production time varies slightly between locations, and is normally the same or next working day. During the peak months of November and December this may vary between 0-2 working days, but we will update you when this is the case.
When can I expect to receive tracking numbers?
Tracking numbers will be added into your order portal as soon as they become available to us. Industry standard is 1-3 working days, however we pride on getting tracking to you either the same or next working day in 99% of cases. You will receive an email when your tracking has been added to your orders.
What happens if an order arrives damaged?
If anything goes wrong during shipping, we have you covered. All we need is proof of damage from your customer, and then we can send your customer a replacement completely free of charge. We will never have you out of pocket for something that is not your fault. Simply send us an email (hey@printshrimp.com) with your order number and proof of damage.
What if an order hasn't arrived within the expected time frame?
We always try and ensure your orders arrive on time, however orders do sometimes arrive late due to postage delays. If a customer of yours gets in touch that their order is late, just drop us an email and we will help you out. In the case that an order is lost in the mail, we will also resend free of charge for you.
What poster paper do you use?
We offer a higher quality paper than most providers, at a cheaper price. In the UK, you can expect your orders to be printed on 240gm poster paper. Other locations vary slightly, but the absolute minimum is 200gsm premium poster paper. We also offer gloss, satin, or matte at all locations.
How are my orders packaged?
For A4 and below, orders are sent in heavy duty envelopes. Orders A3+ and equivalent are sent in heavy duty cardboard tubes, built to avoid damage in transit.
