What Top-Performers Eat (And Why You Should Copy Them)
Yo, what’s up.
Quick post today. Just something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately, if you want to be a high performer, it just makes sense to copy what other high performers do.
Right?
Like the top 1% in any field: Elon Musk, David Goggins, Cristiano Ronaldo, they all eat differently. But they all eat with a purpose.
They eat to support their goals. That’s the key.
Elon Musk
Musk is known for eating a ton of eggs and beef. Why?
Because he needs peak mental clarity and long-lasting energy to think clearly all day, work nonstop, and still make big decisions without crashing.
Eggs = protein, choline, healthy fats
Beef = iron, B vitamins, creatine, zinc
That stuff fuels your brain. Not your cravings.
David Goggins + Cristiano Ronaldo
Now these guys? Different lane. They’re super-athletes.
So their diet is way more dialed into performance and recovery. They eat more clean carbs, more color, more nutrient variety. Their goal is to support training, endurance, output, and muscle repair.
They’re not just eating for energy, they’re eating to maximize recovery.
Think: sweet potatoes, rice, greens, lean meat, fish, fruit, hydration, electrolytes, all that. Hitting every micronutrient possible.
So What’s the Point?
The point is: they suit their diet to their lifestyle.
And that’s what you should do too.
If you’re building a business and doing deep work all day, go more Musk style. More fats and protein. Clean, dense food. Less sugar, less crash.
If you’re training hard, pushing your body like an athlete, go more Goggins/Ronaldo style. More carbs, more recovery-focused meals, more nutrients across the board.
Don’t Overcomplicate It
Just copy the greats. Look at what they eat. Look at what their lifestyle demands. Then look at what you need to fuel your goals.
That’s it.
Peace.
