The Trick I Use to Turn a Rant Into a Polished Newsletter

Ever sit down to write your newsletter..

and suddenly freeze up, not sure how to put thoughts to words?

You’ve got something to say..

you’re fired up, opinionated, ready to lead..

but when you try to put it into words, it comes out flat.

That’s what one of my clients told me recently.

He said, “James, I’ve got ideas.. I just don’t know how to say them without sounding unprofessional.”

Here’s what I told him 👇

> Find someone whose emails you love.

> Grab 3–5 of their newsletters.. tone, pacing, length, vibe.

> Feed those into your AI and tell it to match the tone, structure, style and rhythm.

>Then hit the mic button and just talk. Rant.. Ramble.. Don’t censor.

Once you’re done, tell it to rewrite this in the tone and structure of the samples.

You’ll be shocked how close it feels to you while framing the structure of your reference inputs.

Polish it, tweak it, strip out the fluff, and hit send.
