The Simplest Funnel For First Timers: The Squeeze Funnel

Don’t worry—it’s easier than you think to get started. Here’s a simple 3-step process that works every time:

1. Create a Lead Magnet: This is something valuable you give away for free in exchange for someone’s email address. It could be a PDF guide, a checklist, a video tutorial, or anything that helps your audience solve a specific problem. The key is to keep it relevant and quick to consume! 2. Set Up a Simple Opt-In Page: This is where your audience will sign up to get your lead magnet. Keep it clean and focused! Your opt-in page should have a clear headline, a brief description of the lead magnet, and a call-to-action button. Don’t forget to ask for just the essentials—usually a first name and email is all you need.

3. Follow Up with a Value-Packed Email Sequence: Once they sign up, it’s time to nurture that relationship. Your first email should deliver the lead magnet, but after that, focus on providing more value. Share additional tips, insights, or success stories that build trust and keep them engaged. Over time, these emails should naturally lead to your offer.

This set up was called a squeeze funnel because you would apply just enough force (lead magnet) to squeeze the lead's email out of them and into your email autoresponder. I always enjoyed the analogy hehe

Starting simple lets you focus on what matters—getting people into your funnel and building relationships.
