What I Learned: The Missing Piece in Your Sales Presentation
McCall shared that many entrepreneurs get their sales presentations technically right, but fail in the most important part:
The Transition from Teaching to Selling
✅ They drop golden secrets...
✅ They give incredible value...
✅ But when it’s time to make the offer, the energy shifts. No more eye contact. The voice wavers.
The audience senses the shift…and instead of buying, they hesitate.
But here’s the good news: This is fixable with three simple tweaks:
1️⃣ Cookie-ify Your Offer
A great offer isn’t just a bundle of random stuff—it’s a step-by-step system that solves every problem standing in your customer’s way.
McCall calls this the "Mouse and Cookie Offer."
Like in the book "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" each solution naturally leads to the next.
Example:
  • Your customer wants to lose weight, so you sell them protein powder.
  • But then they need a meal plan to use it properly.
  • And then they’ll need a workout plan for faster results.
  • Then they need a community for accountability to stay consistent.
A winning offer must naturally solve every next step…leading them to their goal.
2️⃣ Timeline-ify Your Offer
Most people dump everything in their offer at once.
Instead, McCall teaches you to present it in the exact order your customers experience their problems.
Example: If you’re selling a webinar funnel…
First, they need the funnel itself.
Then, they’ll need a funnel design course to make it convert.
Next, they’ll need copywriting templates to make their messaging work.
Finally, they’ll need traffic strategies to drive visitors.
By following a logical sequence, your audience envisions their journey…and sees YOU as the guide who can take them to the finish line.
3️⃣ Charisma-ify Your Delivery
Selling isn’t just about what you say…it’s about HOW you say it.
McCall revealed 3 Charisma Trust Styles…and if you use the wrong one, you repel customers without realizing it.
Which One Are You?
Steady (Emotional & Empathetic) → "I see you. I understand how hard this is." (Vishen Lakhiani)
Fix (Logical & Direct) → "You're making this mistake. Do this instead." (Alex Hormozi)
Mirror (Expressive & Thoughtful) → "You might be thinking... [acts it out]" (Russell Brunson)
Your natural charisma is your superpower. If you try to be something you’re not, your audience feels the disconnect.
Example: If you’re naturally a Steady, but try to sell like a Fix, you’ll sound cold and robotic…and lose trust instantly.
How YOU Can Apply This:
1️⃣ Rebuild Your Offer Using the "Mouse & Cookie" Method – Does every part of your offer naturally lead to the next problem?
2️⃣ Present Your Offer in a Timeline – Show them the exact order of problems they’ll face, and how you’ll solve them.
3️⃣ Master Your Natural Charisma Style – Identify whether you’re a Steady, Fix, or Mirror and lean into it.
How I’m Putting This Into Practice:
After this session, I started thinking about my own offer and messaging and plan to make adjustments:
✔️ Rearranging my offer so each piece solves the next step, rather than being a random bundle.
✔️ Making sure my sales presentation follows a timeline that walks my audience through their journey.
✔️ Leaning into my natural charisma style (Charm, Fix, Light) so I don’t accidentally push people away when I make my pitch.
Selling isn’t about just having the best product. It’s about knowing how to present it in a way that makes people say YES!
