For the first 7 months of my business journey I made absolutely NOTHING online at all.
Compared to the last few weeks I’ve closed $8K LTV and close to $1K cash collected at 16.
In this post I’ll share with you the thing that made the DRASTIC difference.
No-one talks about this it’s RIDICULOUS.
Everyone talks about “you should do this new sales technique, implement this new business tip” rather than this new thing.
Let me tell you a story.
For the first 6 - 7 months of online-coaching I made NOTHING at all.
I learnt a lot, made mistakes, failures, went through pain and hardship.
But looking back now after having solved this one thing (which I’ll get into soon lol) I can confidently say that if I solved it back then, I would’ve made money so much sooner.
Then in around December I started to fix this problem, and then I closed my first few clients.
Then went on holiday earlier last month and COMPLETELY fucked up my schedule (literally stayed up till 1:30am with some mates on holiday camp lol)
As soon as I came back home, everything clicked in again.
and I made sure to work on this one thing.
Since then I’ve closed over $8K LTV online at 16 years old.
Now, what is this one thing???
IT’S YOUR SLEEP!!!
For ages my sleep schedule was incredibly fucked up, it would always take me HOURS to fall asleep each night, i’d have some nights where I’d sleep 9 hours and some where I’d sleep 3 hours 45 mins to take a client service call at 5AM (true story)
And because of that I:
- had incredibly poor performance
- incredibly poor focus - had a lack of brainpower
- poor dopamine receptors - even sleep’s responsible for recovering those
- felt tired all the time and just was unproductive.
Now that I’ve solved it all of those things have disappeared and now is the exact OPPOSITE.
Here’s the framework which I actually personally used to solve it tho:
1. Prescribe
Think of the doctor’s analogy:
he wouldn’t just give random pills to you, he’d take some time to identify and solve your exact problem.
Do the same with your sleep, ask yourself what exact problem have I got?
Then identify a SOLUTION (in the form of a habit) which SOLVES that problem.
2. Consistency + Progression
There was a story from Atomic Habits about a guy who lost HUNDREDS of pounds, and guess what the first thing he did was?
Going to the gym for 5 mins a day every single day.
He made it EFFORTLESS to get into the habit of doing it, then from there became GREAT at it (progressed)

You start small with the HABIT, then from there progress (in terms of time/intensity) and add in other ones overtime with steps 1 - 3 repeated.
3. Simplify
At a certain point you’re going to be trying to take on too many habits at once (taking away from your work)
What do you do instead? you get the 80/20 of it through simplifying.
Ask yourself:
- Which one of these habits can I combine?
- Which one of these habits are really necessary?
