New Years Resolutions are for gamblers.
You're betting on yourself suddenly being different. Like there's a reset switch, or a software update you can just download.
The fact is that resolutions are a blindfold that prevent you from seeing the truth of 2025.
That truth is that YOU already ARE who you need to be SUCCESSFUL.
When you were a child, you dreamed, loved, played, and enjoyed. That version of you asked what what you wanted AND YOU GOT IT.
That version of you had your needs met AND your dreams entertained, if by no one else but you.
What's this nonsense of New Year New Me?
I'm gonna bet on old me, because that boy sure new how to get his hand in the cookie jar, but as I grew up I forgot how.
Your dreams? They're in the cookie jar.
The puppy dog eyes you gave when asking for what you want? That's your offer.
Your parents and those who gave you what you asked for? They're behind screens doomscrolling on Tiktok, Youtube, and Instagram.
ASK THEM FOR A COOKIE.
Sure, your parents sometimes said no. Did that stop you from asking again the next day? No, it didn't. Some of us straight up asked again two seconds later.
THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE.
Some people will say no to you, but you will find that enough people give you the cookie to ACTUALLY make you happy.
THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE.
The answer to every question you don't ask is no. You have a million NOs in the bank.
Take your idea, your product, your offer, AND GO ASK.
New Year Resolutions are for gamblers, addicts, and suckers.
You're not one of them.
New Year, Old Me.
