Netflix doesn’t sell the plot — they sell the hook.
They don’t say:
“This is a drama about a woman navigating legal challenges.”
They say:
“A lawyer with a dark past takes on a case that could destroy her.”
That’s not a summary.
That’s tension.
And it’s exactly what your funnel is probably missing.
Most coaches open with:
“Hi, I help X do Y without Z.”
Or:
“Download this free checklist to grow your business.”
It’s flat. Predictable. Invisible.
Here’s how to make your funnel copy binge-worthy:
1. Don’t lead with the deliverable.
Nobody’s excited about a “free training.”
They’re excited about the transformation it unlocks.
2. Introduce tension early.
Hook them with the problem they feel — and tease the shift.
“You’re posting Reels daily… but no one’s buying.”
“What if the real problem is how you’re writing your funnel?”
3. Make it feel like a story, not a pitch.
Use curiosity. Drop an open loop.
Make them think: “Wait… I need to see where this goes.”
Because people don’t opt in based on logic —
they opt in because they feel something.
