Irene would not have hung out in the feeds of social media celebrities copying their approaches, learning how-to-succeed from them, or conforming in what was a very conformist 50s America.

1) What is your vision for the world, why do you matter, and who cares about what you care about.
2) Create a paid product that supports those who care about the same things that matter to you.
3) Connect first offline in your backyard if possible with a founder group to pull things together.
4) Trust yourself and never buy, follow, or pay anybody for advice based on their marketing offers.
5) Realize that the hard work, being real, and your feeling about what matters is 100% on target.
