While working on building my business and learning all I can from Russell Brunson and his collective experts I've found my self drawn to drawn to ' Charisma Hacking. You see this year I started working on my EdD in Interdisciplinary Leadership, and charisma and transformational leadership continue to come to the surface. I completed McCall's Charisma Hacking training, and I must say everyone should go complete it! It's a must. I won't steel McCall's thunder, so I'll share with you a TedTalk video I just watched as part of my doctorate. Then I'll share with you what I learned from it. Cool? Awesome.
The Video is about how people perceive our face and put a price tag immediately by what they see. Russell talks about the power of preframing (now known as pre-seduction) to help with this, yet perceived image is such a powerful judge of value by others. How do we get past how others perceive us? Enter the genius that is McCall Jones. Here's what I learned from this Ted Talk video that is a reflection of McCall's trainings. (https://youtu.be/SEDvD1IICfE?si=S5krmbm17agKWRkx) My Ted Talk Notes: Charisma is not something we're born with. It's something we can learn how to do. I'll share with you three things you can do now to start creating charisma in your messages to make people stop and listen, and engage.
- Frame - WE must give our viewers a vision to buy into. If they are a cold audience this might be talking about the problem they didn't know they had. If this is a warm audience it's talking about the desire they want to achieve and the pain the want to move away from. How do we do this? We do it with stories and metaphores. We do it with questions and lists. When we do this with stories we paint the picture of the frame we want our audience to see. McCall calls this (A...). She does a great job teaching you how to do this the right way for YOU!
- Substance. Here we have to create a moral conviction with our audience. Where we might share the sentiment of the collective and confidence in goals. This is about emotional connection. McCall calls this (C...). Told you I won't steal her thunder.
- Delivery is the last part, using voice, gestures and other tactics to keep them listening and following us. McCall calls this (E...), and the more I study charisma in my doctoral program the more I'm convinced what genius she is! Is there a McCall fan club for life?
Here's my challenge for you.
First - Go follow McCall Jones and complete her training. Taking it seriously and follow each of her steps. I'm still going back to it again and again to train out my false faces and let my natural charisma stay genuine to me.
Second Take my 3 lessons from the TedTalk video and watch condense perfect Webinar. Write out 30 days of messages from Eric's Script, and follow the charisma steps I outlined. Then make a commitment for the next 30 days to find your genuine charisma "voice" and use it in all your communications in your business. If you do this, your audience will not put the price tag on your products and services. In fact, you'll learn how to increase the perceived value of what you're delivering!
