After an amazing week at Funnel Hacking Live, I’m excited to share some of the key takeaways from my favorite presentations and, more importantly, how I’m going to implement them. One of the biggest challenges is that most people attend these events and never take action after—they’re fired up in the moment but don’t follow through. I don’t want that to be you.
Today, we’re diving into one of the most powerful topics shared by Pace Morby: the importance of building a genuine COMMUNITY. In a world of AI and fast digital advances, human connection and shared goals have never been more crucial. Let’s not just absorb this knowledge—let’s put it into practice!.
What I Learned: Building a Community That Transforms Lives
Pace emphasized that community is the FUTURE. It’s not just about education anymore—people crave connection, collaboration, and the sense of belonging that comes from working together. Your brand is no longer what YOU say—it’s what people say about you when you’re not around. Your REPUTATION spreads faster than anything.
Key Steps to Implement Pace's Strategies
- Community Over Education: Traditional education is outdated. Instead, focus on creating real human connections. Your community should be a place where people don’t just learn, but where they belong, collaborate, and grow together.
2. Do Something You Wish Someone Had Done for You: Think back to when you were just starting out. How did you wish people would have shown up for YOU? Now, it’s your turn to offer that same personal attention, non-scalable help, and care to your community.
3. No Gatekeeping: Share your knowledge and resources freely! Collaboration beats competition every time. When you focus on lifting others, you create a movement that changes entire industries.
4. Create a Problem-Solving Community: Your community should rally around a common goal or problem they’re solving together. It’s not just about individual success, it’s about pushing the entire industry forward.
5. Shift Your Language: The words you use matter! Call your members family, partners, or team members to foster equality and belonging. Don’t host simple Q&A sessions—have Family Nights where everyone shares, learns, and connects.
6. No One Left Behind: Build a culture of helping each other! Pace’s No One Left Behind Challenge encourages members to support one another, and he rewards those that do by hosting special events for them.
7. Recognize Contributions: Introduce badges, awards, or merit systems to celebrate contributions and progress within your community.
How I’m Putting This into Practice:
I’m working on building my community in Skool, Challenger Syndicate, with these principles at the core. I want it to be more than a group—I want it to be a family where entrepreneurs, marketers, and leaders push each other to break through limits and achieve extraordinary success.
I want to build a community where we are all in this TOGETHER...
No one gets left behind, and we’ll support each other through every challenge...
Applying what I learned from Pace excites me and I look forward to getting the community going and launched!
