[DRAPING DILEMMAS] You’re scrolling Facebook and stop because you recognize a backdrop. It’s YOUR backdrop. Your photo. Your design. Except another designer posted it on their business page with a caption that says, “Another beautiful setup completed this weekend.” No tag. No credit. No mention of you. You DM them privately and they respond: “I never said I designed it. I just posted it for inspiration.” What are you doing? A. Asking them privately to remove it. B. Commenting publicly, “Hey, this is actually my work.” C. Reporting the post. D. Posting receipts on your own page. E. Leaving it alone. I know my work when I see it. P.S. This backdrop was designed by our student in the last workshop so don't even think.

New Week. This Week We Are Talking About the Experience You Give.
Hey PDU fam 💕 Happy Monday. Two weeks in. June is moving fast. This week we are talking about something most designers overlook completely — until they lose a client over it. The experience. Not the draping. The experience of working with you. From the first message they send to the moment you strike the last backdrop and walk out the door. Every touchpoint either builds trust or breaks it. Every interaction either confirms they made the right choice or plants a seed of doubt. And the designers who get referrals, repeat clients, and five-star reviews? They have mastered the experience — not just the install. Drop in below: ➊ What are you building or working on this week? ➋ When a client works with you, what is the one thing you want them to feel from start to finish? ➌ Do you think your current process actually delivers that feeling — honestly? Drop in. This week gets real. — Precious
