Gregg just hired for a new role in his growing marketing company! He hired their first graphic designer (a HUGE move from using Independent Contractors) on the team. AND... if I can brag on what he shared with me, he sent a detailed welcome email to build enthusiasm while also laying out the goals he had for the new team member to achieve that week (meetings for trainings, debriefs with him daily, and more). The Job Ad Autopsy - #1- NEW SERIES
Why do we love seeing how others do things badly? Because we can learn from their mistakes without the pain often results (or lack there of)! We will be reviewing current Employment Ads from the public job boards and bringing them in to audit for YOUR own Boss best practices. We will be editing them to make them blind...without changing their words. This first one was SUPER confusing... the entire way through! I went a little long ( in the future I will shorten this to 20-sh minutes) but this was the perfect example of how to confuse candidates and attract chaos to your own company. Don't worry, I made sure to give you a MAJOR "Do This!" action for each and every one of you - whether you are in the Bossification Incubator membership or not! A HUGE Tell me what you see - Recruitment Manager - HR? Sales? Coach? ...what do you think they were expecting to attract and hire?

CEO Time a Myth? - Boss Poll
I was working with a private client today and saw him in that crux between being committed to grow and successfully building AND USING the internal systems to delegate and enjoy results from a kickass team. Has anyone ever shared with you the NUMBER ONE new habit you need Boss to get through that point in growth? I'll drop the answer in the comments here but first answer this poll first. It is a doozy because it will be a REAL CEO move. But first, how often do you feel you have to re-do team work, handle overflow client work, and/or catch up on your own to do list just to deliver for customer commitments your company has taken on?
