1. Create Roll-Up Summary Fields
On Vehicle Object:
1. Total Test Drives (COUNT Test Drive records)
2. Total Repairs (COUNT Repair records)
3. Total Repair Cost (SUM Repair Cost)
4. Completed Test Drives (COUNT where Status = Completed)
HOW: Setup ® Object Manager ® Vehicle ® Fields ® New ® Roll-Up Summary ® Select Child
Object ® Choose COUNT or SUM ® Add Filter if required ® Save.
2. Create One Formula Field
On Vehicle: Vehicle Age
Field Type: Formula (Number)
Formula: YEAR(TODAY()) - Year
WHY: Automatically calculates vehicle age without manual updates
