I fought the clouds and the clouds won

I have been working on a lighthouse painting for a little while. This is the third iteration of the clouds. The look more Van Gogh-ish than real (sorry for the insult, Vincent…you are one of my favorite painters).

Anyhow…I welcome criticism of all sorts!

I have watched about three of Sam’s cloud video (one multiple times). He makes it look easy, but I am not getting it. That is a reflection on me, not on Sam’s teaching. I am moving on for now, though I did learn some things.

Anyhow, this is a lighthouse in Washington state on Puget Sound.
