Changes to Clear Creek painting

I took Michael Severin’s advice on how to improve this painting, and so my revision is on the left. I’ve noticed my whites and lightest yellows don’t photograph the way they appear on the painting. 😢

I’ve been wanting to paint this gorgeous scene since my husband and I kayaked this beautiful river, August 30th of this year. This wasn’t our first time here, but since I restarted with painting again, this summer -- after a 42-year break -- I was especially “trigger happy” (📸 😆). I finally set aside time to get it down in paint, today! I’m including my reference photo on the right.
