Hello from Central Oregon!

Hey everybody, super excited to be here and learning a ton from the free content and passionate community. I'm based out of La Pine, Oregon and excited by the idea of getting into forestry mulching, fire mitigation, snow removal and construction prep work; the goal is to build a family empire for my kids to step into at some point (if they want).

I grew up in the country and have done a few blue collar jobs including my fair share of pouring molten metal in my dad's foundry but as a professional in the web design / big tech space for the last 16 years (I'm 40), I'm really ready to get back to working with my hands and off my computer all day.
