START HERE: How It Works & What To Do Next ⬇️
Welcome to OWNR OPS 🤝 The mission here is simple: Help blue‑collar owner‑operators build 7‑figure businesses with real systems. Not more random tips. Not more motivational quotes. We've built a real operating system that turns Operators into OWNRS — and we're sharing it inside the Classroom Section to help you grow your own business 🤝 I'm going to outline your next steps so you can get the most out of this group based on where you're at right now. 1. What stage of business are you right now? Inside OWNR OPS we split people into three stages: - Starter – guys starting out doing $0–$20k/month - Operator – Doing roughly $20k–$80k/month - OWNR – $80k–$100k+/month with systems This group is built to move people up that ladder. 2. There are two paths inside this group If you’re a Starter (0–$20k/month): Your job is to use the Free Classroom Trainings to build a solid base. Go to the Classroom and complete OPS Kickstarter. This will help you: ✅ Dial in your pricing ✅ Set up your basic lead gen system ✅ Start closing jobs ✅ Build your basic weekly rhythm Use the tools and trainings in here to get yourself into that $20k–$40k/month Operator band. Once you’re there, we can talk about Accelerator. If you’re an Operator ($20k–$80k/month): This is who OPS Accelerator is built for. Go to the OPS Accelerator – Info lesson in the Classroom. I’ll walk you through the 16‑week implementation plan to install the OWNR Operating System in your business. If it sounds like what you need, fill out the application linked under that lesson or click here ➡️ https://start.ownrops.com OPS Accelerator is a paid, high‑touch program for Operators who are serious about moving toward 7 Figures Annually (or $80k–$100k+ months during busy season) with real systems and support. What to do right now: - Pick your stage (honestly) in the poll below: Starter, Operator, or OWNR - Follow the path above. - Use the free trainings, tools, and community. - When you’re ready for help building the full OWNR system, apply for OPS Accelerator

Hi everyone, I’m Chris Fortier, and I currently work in the utility industry. I grew up around heavy equipment, so hard work and machinery have always been a part of my life. I first began developing this business idea after gaining exposure to the utility’s ROW maintenance contracts and realizing that this is ultimately the space I want to grow into. My approach to this startup is intentionally tiered over the next two years: I plan to start as a part-time, single-owner-operator while maintaining my current career. As the business becomes sustainable and I’m able to replace my existing income, I’ll transition to full‑time and gradually scale into multiple crews. Over time, the long‑term goal is to shift away from residential work entirely and focus on commercial, utility, and state‑level ROW maintenance. This year, my priority is to refine the business model to accurately reflect true costs and ensure realistic margins. I want to differentiate myself from day one, not just as someone with a machine, but as a professional operation that delivers high‑quality work. Through 2026, I intend to refine this plan, risks, and growth pathways. My target launch is 2027, with remaining equipment purchases cash‑flowed and all marketing, business systems, and pricing structures fully developed (and ready to be adapted for the inevitable changes required). I’m based in the Northeast and would appreciate advice from those who have already navigated the startup phase. I understand that no matter how much planning I do, there are problems we will need to overcome. Any lessons learned or things to avoid would be incredibly valuable. I hope I can contribute by sharing insights on process improvement and documentation. I’m looking forward to collaborating with all of you, and I’m glad to be here.
what's your goal in 2026?
just got back from visiting my VIP client in Austin, TX & I'm FIRED UP! we filmed more FB ads on site, met the crews in person, saw the new Cat 285 & Fecon Mulcher, worked on strategy with ops manager, & crushed some good BBQ 🤪 back in May, another entrepreneur hired me to build a land clearing business for him they'll do over $90M this year in his other business but he wanted in the trades why? he sees the writing on the wall AI is taking over all the tech jobs I've said it before & I'll say it again... Local, blue collar service businesses are the best business opportunity of our generation (and the most AI proof) He saw what I built in Bear Claw and he wanted the exact same thing for himself... named my price he agreed 6 months later we're hitting $150k+ months how? simple using the same operating systems that I built to grow Bear Claw with Last month, I shared this Blue Collar Growth System with 18 other guys inside an intensive 4 Week Growth Sprint we covered how to: 1. get leads 2. win jobs 3. implement scalable operating systems and the guys crushed it @Blake Trant won his first $5k forestry mulching job before finishing the sprint @Trevor Hanosh booked $9k worth of Fire Mitigation jobs after finishing @Doug ODell got his first snow plow clients it's the same process that @Colby McArthur has used to go from $30k in his bank to over $200k I've got an exciting announcement to make soon for the New Year but first, I've got a question for you... what are your goals for 2026?

what's your goal in 2026?
My goal is to establish a solid foundation throughout 2026 so I can officially launch my mulching business in 2027. This year, I will focus on strengthening my understanding of digital marketing and refining my business plan to support a full‑time transition by mid‑2027. I have already developed a detailed cost model that includes hourly and per‑mile direct costs for all equipment, as well as operating overheads that will be integrated into my quoting structure. My next steps include obtaining my CDL, opening dedicated business accounts, and cash‑flowing the remaining equipment purchases required for launch.
