eBay Guitar Pedal issues with some sellers

Hi fellow musician friends. Be careful on eBay when buying anything. I am fighting a battle where I paid for “Brand New” Mosky Silver Horse overdrive. The seller said, “ I tested it, and it’s defective, and I am sending it to the manufacturer, I will send you a golden horse overdrive instead.” What? Brand new and you are testing it? What? Now you want to send me a different pedal which is lesser quality due to missing a toggle switch the silver one has? What? eBay said, once I receive it I can dispute it. What? It hasn’t shipped yet! I asked them to cancel and refund my money. They still said I have to wait to get the product…what?? I also was speaking to someone who clearly did not speak English well and had no clue what I was asking. OMG. I have never had trouble selling or buying on eBay before. However go to Reverb instead for your gear. Especially stuff made in China! Just beware, my friends!
