I’ve been diving into some new gear ideas lately, and I’m curious where the community stands on smart guitars — instruments with built-in tech, apps, onboard effects, learning tools, etc. Some players love the innovation… others feel like it takes away from the raw, traditional guitar experience. I can see both sides, which is why I want to hear from you. Do smart guitars actually solve real problems for guitarists? Would you ever own one — or do you already? Don't exactly have anything to "show" but I've got something to tell I've been in college for a month now and I've join nearly all of my schools ensembles including both choirs, orchestra, and jazz improv playing bass in both. I have my first concert for orchestra this Friday and I've got a little bit of jitters. Im playing the upright bass for 2 songs and its still an instrument that's a little new to me and then my Jackson bass for 1 song. Just kind of wanted to share and see what some of you do before a performance and help cool you down.
