Witness
Hello. When the instructions state that I (LSA) must provide a witness, should I inform the borrower in advance, or should I simply bring that person with me?
Personally, I wouldn’t feel comfortable if a stranger showed up at my house unannounced. I understand that the buyer may know that certain documents require witnesses, but my question is how to properly handle this situation when the witness must be provided by the LSA. Should I explain that to the borrower or just bring them along?
