A situation that happens more often than you think đ
Client deletes docs and uploads a new setâŚ
â Doesnât notify anyone
Notary downloads the original set, completes the signingâŚ
â Never sees the updated documents
Signing service also doesnât catch the updateâŚ
â No one flags the change
Now the question is:
Whoâs responsible here? đ
đ The client for not notifying?
đ The notary for not double-checking before the appointment?
đ The signing service for not catching the update?
đ Or all of the above?
This is one of those gray areas where communication (or lack of it) can cause real problems.
