We’ve seen this document come back signed by the notary… when it shouldn’t be 😅 This “Important Information About Customer Identification Requirements” form is NOT for the notary to sign. 👉 It’s for the Settlement Agent Easy mistake, especially when you’re going through a full package and trying to make sure everything is completed. Tip: If you ever see “Settlement Officer” or similar wording, pause and double-check before signing anything.
