Did modern diets make humans uglier?
Dr. Weston Price spent a decade traveling to 14 countries — the Swiss Alps, the Outer Hebrides, remote African tribes, the Maori of New Zealand, the Inuit of North America, the Hadza of Tanzania (a tribe I have a deep personal connection to)...
Everywhere he went, the same pattern repeated itself with startling consistency.
Indigenous people eating traditional diets had wide jaws, broad faces, perfectly straight teeth, radiant skin and virtually no cavities.
These people never visited a dentist. Never brushed their teeth. And yet less than 1% of their teeth showed any decay at all!
Then Price would find the nearby group of the same tribe who'd switched to modern foods...
Same observation every time: narrowed faces. Crowded teeth. Pinched nostrils. Dull skin. Increased disease.
All in a single generation.
Price's conclusion was unequivocal...
This is not a genetic story. It is a nutrition story.
They all had a few things a common:
  • they all consumed a diet heavy in proteins
  • they consumed 10x more fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K meaning they consumed a lot more fat
our contemporary diet should match this
