Beef
Hey Dr Serge My question is what’s the difference in grass fed beef and green finished beef. I understand if it’s grain fed it’s fed with corn or grains and and it’s not good for you. This can increase inflammation. Is that true? Please advise.

Check out HEB app . I buy wagyu or grass fed beef at Costco and HEB. The price varies based on size. I can get 3 one lb packets for around $21. Either pay at the cashier or pay at the Dr your choice.

Saw Dr Serge today and I bought the grass fed beef supplements, which is liver, kidney, and heart regenerative supplement so that I don’t have to eat those organs to get the benefits. Im looking forward to seeing the benefits of vitamin B12 for DNA, minerals, coq10, choline, omega 6 fatty acids, and more to help the body from head to toe. You can Google the benefits then on your next visit talk to Dr Serge if you could benefit from it as well.
B17
Good morning Dr Serge I recently saw a video on the B17 vitamin and its ability to cure cancer. Is there a supplement out there for this or is it better to eat the foods that supply this? Your thoughts

That’s awesome.
Walking your way to better brain health in later life
Can something as simple as walking help prevent Alzheimer's disease? A recent study in Nature Medicine followed 296 older adults with step counters and brain imaging for up to 14 years, providing some of the strongest evidence yet. Researchers found that higher daily step counts were associated with slower cognitive decline in people with elevated amyloid, the sticky protein that accumulates in Alzheimer's brains. The protective effect came from slower buildup of tau, the toxic protein that drives cognitive damage. In people with elevated amyloid, moving from inactive (under 3,000 steps daily) to moderate activity (5,000 to 7,500 steps) was linked to 40% to 54% slower cognitive decline over nine years. What's particularly encouraging is that benefits appeared to plateau around 5,000 to 7,500 steps per day—a far more achievable goal than 10,000 steps, especially for older or sedentary individuals. Start with small, sustainable increases in daily walking.

Does riding a bike or elliptical count towards the step totals?
Salts
Hi Dr Serge I wanted your thoughts on what you think of the salt substitute to help regulate blood pressure and longevity.
3 signs you need more protein (especially women)
If you answer YES to any of the following, it’s a sign you might not be getting enough protein: You can’t lose weight even though you’ve quit processed foods and seed oils… You can’t build muscle even though you’re training and eating more food… You’re often hungry despite eating regularly… You feel tired and sluggish, even after a full night's sleep… These are all signs you might not be getting enough protein. Because protein isn’t just for muscle—it’s the building block of your entire body. From your hair, skin, and nails to your hormones, immune system, and even brain function, every cell relies on protein to thrive. And research consistently shows: 0.8 - 1.0 grams of protein per lb of ideal body weight per day is the right amount to support optimal health. So for a 180 lb man you’re looking at 144 - 180 g per day And for most ladies, you might need 100-150 g per day. To put that in perspective, 1.5 lbs of ground beef, 3-4 eggs, and a cup of raw milk will get you to 150 g per day. But for many people it can be a struggle to consistently eat this much protein every day - even if you love your beef and eggs as much as we do! In order to get to that level of protein consumption, we may have to resort to protein shakes. Equip is our favorite brand :)

I have three of the reasons why! Good information to understand the frustration when trying to lose weight. I dropped 10 lbs but stuck now. I’ll have to up the protein.
