Microsoft Fabric: Clone table
Hi everyone,
I've looked at the documentation to clone tables and also the time travel SQL statement.
I understand that with the time travel SQL query, I can select data that is less than or equal to 30 days back.
What I am unsure about is if I create a table using the clone table statement today, will the data in this cloned table be available forever ("forever" used loosely here - meaning more than 30 days or until I delete the cloned table)
If you have tested this and is 100% sure, please let me know. I need to propose an archiving strategy and cannot have my proposed strategy go sideways next month.....
Thank you in advance! 🦜
Below are the links to the Microsoft documentation I am referring to.
