Career Shift Update
I’ve been pretty quiet the past couple of months because I’ve been deep in Python, AI engineering skills, while staying steady with Fabric. I’m grateful to share that I’ve accepted the Senior AI Engineering role at my institution — something I’ve been working toward relentlessly since January. Thanks to everyone who shares their work here; it’s been a huge part of how I’ve kept moving.

Have you noticed the giant leaps in AI models?
Hey everyone! Have you been keeping up-to-date with the latest generation of AI models? If you HAVEN'T, then I recommend checking them out - they are insane to be honest - I'm talking Claude Opus 4.5, Gemini 3.0, GPT 5.1 etc. Has huge implications for how we will work in the future. I'm just figuring out the best workflows for implementing these models in Fabric workflows, I'll share more of my thinking and research in the following weeks/ months, but I'm interested - have you been keeping up-to-date with the LLM updates? Have you been thinking about how to integrate into Fabric - let me know what you've found so far!

"Open AI is now in front, Gemini is now in front" Things move so fast, struggle to keep up. I have a ChatGPT (pronounced in the Boris Johnson method) subscription and, for now, going to stick with that. Got projects set up within it, one for DP-600 exam/cert of course. I'm not sure what it would take for me to change at this time. Wonder how others are feeling or tracking this? Very interested in how this can be integrated with Fabric.

@Yael Bernstein thanks for commenting, think your suggestion is one I will be following.
Passed DP-600 exam!
Hi everyone, I’m excited to share that I passed my DP-600 exam yesterday! Huge thanks to @Will Needham for the course, the community, and the invaluable notes. I honestly don’t think I would’ve made it without these resources — the notes, in particular, were a lifesaver during my prep. Regarding the exam format, I had 48 standalone questions, with 4 additional questions as part of a case study. The total time allocated was 1 hour and 40 minutes. In addition to Skool.com, I supplemented my study with MS Learn and completed numerous practice tests until I was consistently scoring above 78. To give you an idea, my first practice test in August 2025 only netted me a 42, so it’s been a journey of steady improvement. Stay focused, stay consistent, and I’m sure you’ll crack the exam too!
