Morning everyone! As we enter Q2 2025, I thought I'd give a brief update to what's happening/ what's been happening in Fabric Dojo recently!
For those that don't know, Fabric Dojo is our second community here on Skool - it's a vibrant community designed specifically to help you transition into a highly capable Fabric Data Engineer, or Fabric Analytics Engineer. We achieve that through a unique recipe of:
- hands-on tutorials and projects (we have 100 of them currently), these are the fastest way to build the skills and confidence with Microsoft Fabric
- DP-600 & DP-700 certification content (to validate your knowledge)
- a dynamic community from a wide-variety of backgrounds sharing experiences and learning from one-another.
In Q1 2025:
- we recently finished our DP-700 bootcamp, a 12-week focused period that helped many of our members fast-track their learning and achieve the DP-700 certification. Study notes, live session recordings and loads of detailed conversations about the content - all that content is still available to any new joiners too!
- we added a Referral Program, so if you refer members to the Dojo, you get to keep 30% commission!
- we expanded the Team licensing - so now you can sign up your Team to Fabric Dojo and get a discount. We already have numerous teams doing this - let me know if you want to learn more about Team licensing!
In Q2 and beyond, we keep the momentum going. The thing is, Fabric Dojo is not a static one-off course, the content and community is constantly evolving with new content, new conversations. I feel this is important because of the rate that Fabric changes, a one-off course would be outdated within a few months.
After reviewing the suggestions/ requests from existing members in the Dojo, plus analyzing the latest features and roadmap for Fabric, I have semi-locked-in the content focuses for Q2 2025 in Fabric Dojo (subject to change/ suggestions!):
