I'm sure the OkCupid study of most men being considered less than average attractiveness has been posted on here, but I wanted to address it from another angle. I watched this on The Podcast of the Lotus Eaters where it was first pondered: what if women are right about men?
What if most men are unattractive, because women aren't considering the average of men in our current society, but rather ALL men across ALL time. Either A) men actually are weaker and less masculine than our grandparents and that's genetically wired or B) women see old films of the John Wayne or this yearbook and see how much more attractive men used to be.
What do you all think? Is this a female delusion, or are women right?
