Pro Tools version issue
I am very new to all of this so I'm sure the is a simple issue, but it threw me for a bit today. I spent a few hours last night getting my UI24R setup and able to record on my mac with Pro Tools. The issue was io channels being limited so I had to upgrade my version to Studio. Once upgraded it worked nicely.
Today at rehearsal I setup everything and started recording but noticed there were no meters on any of the tracks. Turns out Pro Tools started up in the free mode rather than Studio. I had to get onto Wi-Fi and restart it to enable Studio.
Is there any way to disable the lesser version? Or do I always need Wi-Fi to run PT?
