Again, I find myself lost because I'm using Fender Studio Pro 8.1 (Formerly Studio One 7) and not Logic Pro. First, I'd like to start by saying I think since were just learning at this point the 66 Track song "Panic" is WAY too big and daunting when we should be focused on the individual steps of the entire process. It took me countless hours just to rename, reorder and gain stage all those tracks. I find it counterproductive that you guys often use a different track in the videos than the ones we're working on ourselves. I understand that you probably do that purposefully so we don't just copy the same things you do in the video, but at this point I don't think copying what we see would necessarily be a bad thing as long as we had an explanation as to why those changes were being made. The point is for us to learn the process from beginning to end and if I can't just hit THIS button and click THIS menu because my DAW is different maybe I could at least get an explanation of how to achieve the same result in my own DAW. For example, in the "Working with Busses" video, after creating all the SUMMING FOLDERS (Which isn't an option in Studio Pro) we are instructed to turn down all of the tracks except for the grouped busses to Infinity. However, when I do that, I lose all of the audio going TO my busses. From what I understood the Sends are supposed to be Pre Fader and I can't seem to figure out how to make them so, or if there even is a way. I would like some help figuring all of this stuff out by asking the community as I'm told to do in the videos, but I would also like to be able to get some answers from the instructors themselves as the monthly mentor calls aren't frequent enough when I have a bunch of questions and I just need some answers to move forward.
Thanks in Advance,
Peter
