Gain Staging My Instruments
I don't make songs with vocals. With that being said. After I do the foundation method (for my kick bass and snare) I bring in my instruments in order of importance.
While listening through my headphones 🎧 the mix sounds great. However, when I take the mix out to my car my kick and snare sounds too forward in the mix and my instruments sound too low.
Why is this happening?
