glazing putty no adhesion to PUR bumper.
• experiencing poor adhesion of Evercoat Polyflex glazing putty to a PUR bumper, despite proper surface preparation (sanding, washing, plastic cleaner).
• The putty easily scratches off, leaving a yellow residue.
• The user suspects the product may not be suitable for PUR due to its declining popularity.
My idea is to spray the bumper with epoxy primer as ive been told its a great base and will allow paint and clear to flex, and help mitigate rockchips. Its down to plastic that light blue stuff is leftovers of factory primer its sanded with 180 btw and is slick as an egg. Yes its clean for sure im thinking maybe 180 is too fine for this plastic.
