📌Daily Journal | Day 14 | Wed, Mar 18
⛅ Day Start: Slept at: 7:30–7:45 AM Woke up at: 3:30–4:00 PM - My alarm was set for 3:15 PM, but due to procrastination, I woke up a bit late. Then I freshened up, revised, and uploaded notes for the lecture: Freelancing Problems. - After that, it was Asr time, so I went for prayers. Then I came home, read the Quran with translation, and used social media for a while until around 6:30 PM. - Then I went for iftar, and after finishing it, I went for Maghrib prayers. - After coming home, I spent some time with my mom. Afterwards, I took my laptop to my room and continued with the lectures until it was Isha time at 8:30 PM, so I went for prayers. - After coming home, I did some social media work for my agency. Around 9 PM, my mother told me about the sandstorm. Later, it started raining, and around 9:30 PM, the electricity went out, resulting in a complete blackout. Due to the extreme weather, my office was also called off. - We waited for the rain to stop and for the electricity to come back. We sat in candlelight and used our phone torches. Since it was Bari Raat, we did as much ibadat as we could in the dark until 2:30 AM. We then realized that our neighborhood had electricity, so we went to my nani’s house, which is close to ours. We charged our phones and had sehri there. After that, I went for Fajr prayers with my cousin. - After coming back, we had family time until 6:30 AM. It was a bright day, so we returned home, and Alhamdulillah, the electricity was back. After freshening up and changing clothes, I’m now writing this journal and will sleep in a while. 🌙 Day Close ⚡ Wins for the Day: - Uploaded notes for the lecture: Freelancing Problems. - Completed a social media task for my agency. - Prayed 4 out of 5 prayers with jamat. ☪️Prayers: Fajr: 5:35 AM✅ Zuhr: Missed jamat but prayed at home✅ Asr: 5:30 PM✅ Maghrib: 7:00 PM✅ Isha: 8:30 PM✅
