Aj mene ki ye wali video dekhi is mai hamain project manage karne k bahut solid or useful points bataye gaye hai mai ise apni understanding k mutabiq post karahe hu agar koi point miss kargaye to sugession needed !
Introduction:
1)project ko chunks mein divide karna:
is part mein hum project ko as a whole nahi dekhte balkay usay chotay chotay tasks ya chunks mein divide kar dete hain. is se kaam smooth rehta hai aur daily basis par progress hoti rehti hai.
example agar project video editing ka hai to aaj 10 percent, kal 30 percent, parson 20 percent. is tarah hum thora thora magar daily kaam kar sakte hain.
2)initial approval ka concept:
agar aap poori video aik sath edit karwa dete ho aur baad mein feedback dete ho to time waste hota hai, energy waste hoti hai aur poori video dobara theek karwani parti hai. is liye start mein sirf 5 ya 10 seconds ka kaam karwana chahiye taake direction clear ho jaye, editing style samajh aa jaye aur speed aur quality ka idea ho jaye. client se initial feedback lo aur editor ko forward karo taake aagay wali video mein wohi ghalti repeat na ho.
3)If you are a project manager to ap ko editor se kis tarha bat karni hai?
step 1 estimated time poochna:
you : How much time do you think you will need to edit this video?
Editor: I will need 2 hours for the full edit
step 2 delivery time confirm karna:
you: Alright so you will have the final video ready in 2 hours right?
Editor: yes !Iwill deliver it in 2 hours.
important scenarios:
is point par yeh clear karna bohot zaroori hota hai ke editor kaam kab start karega. agar editor kehta hai ke sirf editing mein 2 hours lagenge lekin kaam kal start hoga kyun ke abhi woh soyega phir uthega aur phir kaam karega to is case mein total delivery time 10 se 12 hours ho jata hai. is situation mein wait karna risky hota hai kyun ke poora project delay ho sakta hai aur koi guarantee nahi hoti ke woh time par kaam karega is liye aap kisi aur editor ko hire kar sakte ho.
scenario 2:
agar editor kehta hai ke woh abhi kaam start kar raha hai aur 2 hours mein deliver karega to phir next step follow kiya jata hai.
step 3 Editing process poochna:
you: Great! what will you be doing to complete this edit?
Editor: I will trim the footage, add graphics ,apply effects and polish the video to make it look professional.
step 4 10 %percent initial edit request karna:
you: That sounds perfect! To make sure everything is on track can you first work on just 6 seconds like 10 percent of the video apply all the editing you mentioned trimming effects graphics like it is the final version?
Editor: sure i will fully edit the first 6 seconds.
you: Awesome this will help us make sure the style effects and everything else are aligned before moving to the full video.
step 5 Initial edit ki deadline set karna:
you: since the full edit takes 2 hours a small section like this should not take long take up to 30 minutes to polish it completely and send it over does that work?
Editor: yes I will deliver the 6 second section within 30 minutes.
step 5 explanation:
Agar full video 2 hours ki hai to us ka 10 percent approx 12 se 15 minutes ka hota hai. hum editor ko double time dete hain yani 30 minutes. is se editor ka working style samajh aa jata hai aur yeh clear ho jata hai ke project sahi direction mein ja raha hai ya nahi.
step 6 Progress Monitor Karna or Feedback lena:
Agar kaam theek ho to:
you: Great work this part looks good now you can continue with the rest of the video.
Aur agar mistakes hon to:
you: thanks for sharing this quickly lets adjust this specific issue before you move forward so it does not repeat in the next part.
Agar editor deadline miss kar de:
agar editor 30 minutes ki deadline miss kar deta hai to:
you: It is taking longer than expected let me know if there is any issue or if i should bring in another editor to stay on track?
is tarah editor ko sach batane ka chance milta hai aur agar woh handle nahi kar pa raha hota to aap bina time waste kiye editor change kar sakte ho. aksar editors pressure mein apni real situation nahi batate jo project manager ke liye bohot painful hota hai is liye ek project manager hone ke hesiyat se in sab cheezon ka khud khayal rakhna bohot zaroori hota hai.
