The longer I've been doing this, (since June) I'm finding myself making MUCH better choices because I actually PREFER the way I am eating now. And I'm eating more volume than previously, I'm stayimg in a calorie defecit and seeing the difference. These healthy, low fat, high protein foods taste GOOD to me, and are my choice over other things I would previously have had (all but eggs, struggling to eat eggs 🤢). Using lots of different seasonings to keep chicken interesting and different. Cravings subsiding, sweet tooth mostly gone (except after dinner some days, why???) and easier to bypass things that aren't in my macros or my daily food plan. I can have them if I want to, but I choose NOT to. So many things have lost their appeal. Odd how that has happened for me. The only time I really feel stong cravings now is when I'm running on lack of sleep, super stressed at work, been too long between meals or have not had enough water yet. I'm looking at my calories now and for that last meal if I hadn't pre-planned well, I'm deciding "what protien can I have with those calories?" vs. "Can I have dessert?" That's a switch!
