Share your Gems, Ideas and Theories
I realize I am the coach in charge here. El jefe, the big Honcho, even "Big Papa" if you want a Ron Burgundy reference. But the truth is I am always learning and changing my opinion of fitness, especially when it comes to training people over 50. I am talking about sharing ideas, nutrition, workouts etc... you are actually doing. There are two types of posts I won't put up with. 1. People spamming or selling your stuff. I can smell it a mile away and it is an instant ban. 2. Anyone starting a post with " I have a friend who..." or "I have a buddy who..." The reason why is that these stories are never factual and involve hearsay. That won't be a ban but a gentle reminder not to do that. I want first hand stories and tips. While we are on the subject, this is the perfect place to ask questions about what your friends are doing or what people think about the latest fitness trend.

I want to hear about your wins big or small
As this community gets off the ground and grows it is important that we help each other out by sharing wins. Staying around positive people and interacting with others will help you stay on track. I want you to see my fitness journey and coaching for what it is. I have good days and bad ones and it is always a fight to keep pushing forward. I want you to see that and understand this is the game. You can talk about any win. Maybe your win is just getting out of bed and maybe it is a new mile PR. Maybe you just ran your first marathon or that you were able to walk up a flight of stairs without knee pain. This is a safe place to state your wins for the day. A place where people will understand what you are talking about because they are going through the same fight. A place where you won't get ridiculed. To start things off I will try and post everyday and I hope others will join in.
