Lesson 307 (Conflicting wishes cannot be my will): This is a tricky lesson because we often feel conflicted and we know there are things in the seeming past that we could have done differently. Why are the choices I make between God's will and my own in this moment any different? The path forward is to recognize that God's will is whatever is happening in this moment, and this includes both external circumstances as well as our internal state, which are actually the same thing. The key is to be aware that only the ego judges something to be against God's will. If internal or external action is required then God will accomplish that through the relevant party, which may or may not be you. Kourtney Sims mentioned in today's daily lesson "This wasn't the plan." and she was referring to the collective ego mechanism that THINKS it knows better than God. But the ego can know nothing. It can only think it knows something. Holy Spirit does know and it is this part of ourselves the Course is teaching us to recognize and connect with until it becomes our lived, moment-by-moment reality. The phenomenon known as channeling, which is our recognition of God communicating and acting through the body vehicle, is the beginning of a shift in humanity's consciousness. It will eventually be seen that everyone and everything is channeling God and that only God's will exists. 💜🙏
