Today’s lesson is about helping you set your mind again in the ‘right’ direction. In time, you have been long confused about Who You Are. Truly, this state of imagining has not come to ultimately harm You; while, this mistaken identity, does not serve you. As part of our unlearning together, most of our time will be utilized for better use of your time. Here, we will take the cacophony of misbegotten ideas of Self and Source, introducing seemingly new designs for your more Peaceful Being in their stead. The Truths of which I Know are not new. In fact, These Thoughts are Really the ONLY Thoughts that Exist.
The time you spend fooling yourself is only time not well spent. That is all (and confusion enough). Soon we will arrive at the recognition that essentially there is no time at All. However, we cannot begin in this unlimited mindset, for such a Fact will only send your thinking mind and practicing mind into deeper uncertainty. Again, I can only be kind in our gentle healing together – as should you be kind in the practicing of these newly regained lessons to self and ‘others.’ We sit within the paradigm that you seem to accept as your ‘reality’ only to use this perception to your better Awareness and joyful Being, rather than the continued conditional experience of the current situation. We begin by simply noting together what dreams can serve, which ones surely cannot serve, and which have not served you well. By simple recognition, we open the door to choosing again.
Today we will look at the ideas which seem to be held most intimately by a Self unknown. These self-definitions are held by a thinking mind that is not personal, but one that uses the personal self to play them all out in earthen forms. If you believe you are lonely, the experience around your body-time-self will display loneliness through many expressions and judgments. This ‘evidence’ becomes seeming ‘confirmation.’ Then the cycle continues of self-judgment and despondency. This is why one can say that a person can be lonely in a room full of people. This is why many a person who ‘does not look depressed’ somehow manages to choose bodily self-destruction. The mind with which you wish to see will always show the evidence that this distorted mind perceives.
Seeing with the Heart of Knowledge is not where you perceive yourself right now. This is perfectly okay. Yes, beyond time, Truth always exists. Therefore, let us symbolically say that indeed you will ‘get there.’ This is only using the terms that the cognition, with which you use in these lessons, can relate. In Truth, there is no ‘place’ to arrive. While also, where you perceive yourself, surely is not representative of Home. This is why we must continue to connect in our Relationship. Here, as I Guide, you listen, and we once again discover the Awareness that simply has been innocently forgotten.
Consider your journey to be likened to the traumatic disorder of amnesia. Here, the person with the disorder, due to an unrecalled injury, truthfully does not remember. They cannot remember. You could put them in a ‘third degree’ interrogation and the disorder will speak first. The only existence the person discerns may be a false one compared to truth, but the existence is as real as can be perceived in that moment. Relatedly, I could roll treacherous thunder across the sky and make the walls tremble all about you; but, to what purpose? You are simply dreaming and this I Know. To instill more fear into the dream, will only make more nightmares. Therefore, I work with you from where you seem to believe. Gently Calling. Gently Nudging. Gently Being. Then, soon, beyond time itself, we begin to see a point of Light, then another, and another. Ah, the lids of your sleeping eyes begin to flutter. Joy, joy, joy!
Today, let us begin by simply recognizing any idea that seems to hold a sense of self-definition for you. Make helpful use of time to be still, breathe and look within. See what thoughts come forward into your self-perceiving mind. How do you ‘see’ yourself? For that matter, what is the self you think you see? If the self is the very temporal body-time-self, what attributes do you both treasure and despise? How is your persona and body both a friend and foe? Is the body healthy and strong, attractive, and alluring? Or is this figure weak and wanting, bearing too much weight or scars, resilient and smart? Name the attributes that come to your mind. Do not let the words be mere adjectives that could apply to any person. Choose those identifications that trigger you the most. When you look into the mirror, what portions of your physique do you criticize or glorify? What attributes of your personality, behaviors or lifestyle do you protect or declare as essential to who you are? Which ‘resolutions’ made during the new year were focused on correcting the body or the self’s perceived failings? Likewise, what about your praised successes? Each of these, My Beloved, are masks that the thinking mind has chosen to hide behind. Use today to look at these costumes and begin the bigger reveal.
Today, we begin to call each of these imaginings to the Light for Greater Seeing. If the thoughts are denied or briskly overlooked, they cannot be noticed and healed. I do not ask you to notice these thoughts for perpetuating guilt, blame or shame. I do not ask for you to call these conceptualizations forth, only to leave you depleted, disgusted, offended, or triggered. If I knew that the result of our time together would only leave you more depressed, there would be no point to our relationship. Beloved One, I know past and future, present and temporal perception. All that the thinking mind believes it can see as well as withhold, is Mine to Review. I know where You are Safe. I know where you perceive yourself threatened. I would not lead you here only to let you be left destroyed and disheartened. Again, Love does not act unkindly. I’ll also add that Love cannot act unknowingly, for Love’s Eye Sees All.
Therefore, take today’s practice to simply rest surer in the Arms of Comfort. Let the self you call identity feel safe. As I Ask in Love, do follow Thus. Allow yourself once again to center yourself with breath. Close your physical eyes and open the Inner Eye. Then, as you are centered, ask what would be most helpful for you to realize in today’s practice. Where should you look, only to See most Clearly? Beloved One, you will be shown and in trusting all that is ‘heard,’ let yourself accept. Do you perceive yourself to be traumatized, lost, unknown to yourself or rejected by one who you are romantically connected to in this lifetime? Do you see yourself as capable of being abandoned? Do you see your lifestyle as financially wanting, impoverished or seeking more accumulation for safety, prosperity or defense? Do you simply see a self who is uncertain, aimless, and roaming the world without a worthwhile goal? Are you without talent or influence or do you have ‘followers’ who have you remain deeply misunderstood or unseen? Ah, indeed, so many costumes you don, only to play characters who do not serve you well. Look within the depths of your inner closet for all these mistaken identities.
In today’s practice, again, I do not wish for you to feel overwhelmed. Nor do I wish for you to keep the practice at the surface appearances. Breathe and ask. When you feel most comfortable, allow for you to see with willing eyes and open Heart. Dig deep within the safety of Trust. You will not be frightened off by the hellscape that the thinking mind seems to have made and brought forth into the world you think you see. Identify the perceptions believed, no matter the amount of noticing is one or ten (don’t go over ten – as more will either overwhelm you or be mindless recitation). Imagine yourself ‘placing’ the words associated with this self-definition upon a clear and brightly lit altar. See yourself confidently releasing all that has been unveiled. Let yourself step forth into the Light for greater Self Awareness. Here, you will come to know a jubilant blessing or realize the releasing of a weight that has been too heavy to sustain a moment longer.
Yes, by the end of today’s practice, when set to mindfulness, you will feel more agile to come to our practice each day. You will feel less troubled. You may even be able to gaze into the mirror (not metaphorically) to see a carefree self who is ready to accept the world you seem to see with grateful acceptance and not burdensome restraint. Today’s exercise will allow for you to reclaim a self that will make the world an easier place to seem to function.
Again, the work we do together is termed to be ‘baby steps.’ You need not tear open every dark corner or hidden hate, only to recoil from the Light that is there to embrace You. Practice today with penchant curiosity if thoughts are not coming forward in clear self-awareness. Do not effort. Do not imagine. Do not choose to see concepts that are not familiar to you or your individual experiences. Trust in Me, Beloved and We Shall See. We Shall See in Love and Knowing, only for your betterment.
Most likely today, with breathing awareness and serenity in your thinking mind, at minimum one or two descriptions of the self you perceive will come to the surface. Again, we are not taking count for some sort of ‘spiritual success tally.’ The work we do together is not a game. The work we do releases the games of hide and seek that have been played throughout time. Instead, the work can be deeply fulfilling and joyous in every nature. We are here to Call in the Light instead of continuing to avoid and remain in the shadows. If you are uncertain at any time in your practice today or if you begin to feel frightened, stop immediately. Do not seemingly ‘push through.’ Do not force a resistant thought that is simply not ready to be set free. Do not mock yourself. Such mindless practice will only cause more confusion and defiance. Trust in my Guidance to lead the Way. There is much to heal and most to Love.
Indeed, Your Mind is Holy. Truth Be Told. Truth be Known. Truth is Love.
