If you've tried everything and you're still stuck. Read this.
I need to say something to you. If you've tried everything and you're still stuck. I need to say something to you... It's not you. Every app teaches general English. Every class teaches general English. Every YouTube video teaches general English. None of them sat with YOU. None of them watched how YOUR mouth moves. None of them listened to YOUR patterns. None of them said... "Ah. THERE it is. That's what we need to fix." They COULDN'T. Because they weren't built for you. They were built for everyone. And everyone isn't you. When you study GENERAL English... You get GENERAL results. When someone works on YOUR specific English... Everything changes. You haven't failed at learning English. Nobody has ever actually tried to fix YOUR English. There's a difference!! A BIG one. Coach Shane
That's How We Learn! 🧠 📺
I learned the word PERCOLATOR from a scene in my favorite TV drama, “Twin Peaks” by David Lynch, many years ago — even before I started seriously studying English. I watched the show with a Russian voice-over on top of the original audio, so you could still hear the English in the background too. The scene is funny, and I loved how that word sounded, so it’s tattooed in my brain. It’s kinda an outdated word nowadays — most people probably just say “coffee pot” now, I guess. Anyway, today at the end of the Explanation video for DDM 1041, Coach @Shane Peterson explained that word again! And yeah, I love the pronunciation: PUR·kuh·lay·tr!
