What’s in your mind when sun setting?
I spent a long while watching the sun sink into the horizon in this video I took last week, letting the moment stretch out without interruption. The sky shifted slowly through shades of gold, amber, and deepening blue, as if time itself had softened just for that evening. The waves rolled in with a steady rhythm—never hurried, never late—each one dissolving into the shore only to be replaced by another. A gentle breeze moved past me, carrying the faint scent of salt and something ancient, something unchanged despite everything else in the world constantly moving forward. My thoughts turned to my family—those who shaped me, those who are still part of my life, and even those who are no longer here. I considered how time moves through generations like the tide before me: constant, inevitable, carrying everything with it. Life feels so vast when you’re living it day by day, yet from a distance, it resembles that sunset—brief, beautiful, and quietly slipping away. It’s a mixing feeling of happiness and sadness in a unique way.
