However, can you tell which sentence feels natural... and which doesn't: 1.1 I was interested to see the new phone models at the store. 1.2 I was interested to buy a new phone. 2.1 Were you interested to read about the report? 2.2 Were you interested to write the report? 3.1 I was interested in observing how the app worked on my phone. 3.2 I was interested to observe how the app worked on my phone. 4.1 She was interested to attend the meeting. 4.2 She was interested in attending the meeting. Pick which feels right and why? Have fun!
