🗣️Throwback PIRFsday Class №13 💬 March 5th
Hello everyone! 🙌 How about we dig into this assignment in our next Throwback PIRFsday? This video is from October 2025. So, March 5th — our weekly class: Throwback PIRFsday, every Thursday ⏰ 👉 Calendar Link Here’s what we’ll do: Go through one of the “old” PIRF assignments and… Do VF (Vowel Foul) 😜 Read the whole assignment 📝 Practice Pronunciation, Intonation, Rhythm and Flow 🗣️ My assistant Super Mariel @Mariel Liang will, as always, be watching out for me and lending a hand. 🤝 PRACTICING TOGETHER, IMPROVING BIG TIME! 💪 "PIRF 449 feels like a scene from real life—two neighbors, a fence, and a serious bit of news. The tone’s quiet but natural, not overly emotional. You’re not really mourning. You’re just talking, processing, reacting. Keep it steady and conversational, like two people who’ve seen enough of life to take it as it comes. Don’t forget the Vowel Foul." Your English coach, Coach @Shane Peterson

Why listening is harder than speaking for most adults
I’ve been thinking about something while improving my own English. A lot of adults study grammar and vocabulary for years, but when it comes to real conversations, listening is still the hardest part. For me, the biggest shift happened when I stopped trying to understand every single word and started focusing on patterns, tone, and key phrases instead. what made the biggest difference in your listening or speaking progress?
