Is it just me?

I have done a few posts now and yes there has been a lot of comments and answers to my post. What i have started to notice is that i get notification of the posts that i left from my last visit. For example, i have answered some one's post with a comment and then when i come back the following day, i find that the comment is in my notification box along with other people's likes and comment.

I can understand it leaving notification of peoples post and comments on posts i have made, but to receive notifications of my own post?

I know some times i may have a memory relapse, maybe it's making sure i remember the comments i left on my last visit.
