INTERNET is BACK!

Back in business!

After yesterday's windstorm--northern Vermont and southern Quebec was powerless!!

We have a generator at our house so after the electricity cut out, our generator kicked on. But the internet router (?) in town also lost power and didn't come back online until just a short while ago.

How was life without the internet?

For the first few hours--VERY frustrating. Everything we do is connected to the internet. But then it was okay. My boys had a Christmas concert in the late afternoon so that was fun. Their concert was in another town that was not affected by the power outage.We got lots of rest, watched some DVDs, ate good. The weather was also quite warm, so I was able to remove a lot of ice buildup we had outside.

I wish I could say it was very peaceful...but with the constant sound from the generator, it was nice, but not super peaceful. Fortunately all of our bedrooms are far from the generator sound so sleeping was fine.

I was washing dishes when I heard the generator cut off...I was like, DID THE GENERATOR RUN OUT OF FUEL??? But I was pleasantly surprised that the lights and TV remained on so I knew--THE POWER IS BACK ON!!

Anyway, back in business! DDM EXPL video will be ready probably in 8 hours.
