π Happy 250th Birthday, USA! The Short Story π
Today, the USA is celebrating its 250th anniversary! To make a long story short, here is how the nation grew over two and a half centuries:
- 1776: 13 colonies fought Britain to become a free, independent nation.
- 1800s: The country expanded quickly across the land and ended slavery.
- 1900sβToday: It became a global leader in science, wealth, and culture.
Yesterday I was the last one to wish you a happy Friday, so today I'm making up for it! β€οΈ
