I don’t have a perfect workout or nutrition plan right now — and that’s okay. Here’s what I do know I will focus on in the next week, so that I have some sort of direction...
FITNESS/MOVEMENT:
- I’m lifting weights 3 days per week, focusing on progressive overload (heavy + volume), spinning 2 days per week at the studio, at least one rest day a week
- I’m aiming for 7–8k steps on workdays because I know I struggle with movement beyond my scheduled workouts during the week (it's so easy to sit at work)
NUTRITION:
- Continuing to limit my alcohol intake to 2 days a week and not more than 2 drinks a day on either of those days.
- I’m cooking at home 5 nights per week (this means 5 solid, well-portioned lunches and dinners + saving $! Another goal of mine this year.)
I do have a non-negotiable goal to make a more specific plan for myself in terms of my nutrition (MACROS/CALORIE GOALS) and workouts by the end of next week and start a new plan 1/12.
