This was the first vacation in more than 10 years (!!!) that I did not set alarms, make myself work out to burn calories, or force myself to follow a workout program.
I slept in because my body needed it, not because I was hungover. 🙌🏼
We took plenty of steps, pushed a stroller for miles, and adventured our butts off 😂
My body finally craved movement 3 whole days after my last workout and I did Cardio/Core 1 from 30 day booty boost this morning as the sun rose 🌅
I haven’t rested this long since I had the flu - and even that was FORCED 🙃
Remember that healthy isn’t always ONLY doing the workout or eating the meal prepped food…it is that… AND it’s also rest and recovery, and being kind to yourself and your body. 🫶🏼
PS- I hope this post gives you proof that I’m learning this with you. It’s taken me over a decade. The work isn’t done. Let’s keep getting better…
